While Artist In Residence on the Chilkoot Trail, tree stumps such as this were reminders of the of gold-seeking "stampeders" in the late 1800's. By capturing this object using photogrammetry, I was able to transport it's virtual self and recreate it using full-color 3D printing, thereby creating a visceral twin to stand in place of my experiences on the trail.
