In an attempt to see through the eyes of others, I culled landscape paintings found in area thrift stores and reconstructed a new vista by sewing together seventy, 2" sections. While possessing all the formal qualities of the original paintings, this new interpretation referenced a standardized landscape consisting of sky and horizon.
