Quotidian
Quotidian is a site-relevant, portable, interactive series of sculptures and installations engaging contextual dialogues concerning society, history, and place. By placing opening and closing quote marks at various locations, everything between the two becomes relevant, including the subject/title of the piece.
Locations will be chosen to frame American culture's stereotypical, true, and assumed aspects.
The objects or installations serve as nonjudgmental participants—flaneurs or voyeurs, as opposed to pontificators of fact or opinion.
